Tony Prenger is a Vice President – Commercial Lender at Prosperity Bank in Austin. His responsibilities include business development, loan portfolio management, securing deposits, and compliance.After graduating from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. in Accounting and emphases in Biology and Spanish, Tony moved to Texas to begin his career in banking in 2010. He spent 10 years in Fort Worth before moving to Austin in 2020. Tony lives by the affirmation “make the community what you want it to be.” His time is devoted to organizations he feels will make the community a better place. Those include being treasurer of the Leadership Austin Board, the Finance Committee of Austin Habitat for Humanity, and the board of the Chestnut Neighborhood Revitalization Corporation. Tony enjoys the arts, international travel, yoga, cooking and eating good food, wine, visiting his family. In 2019, Tony was a 40 Under 40 honoree by the Fort Worth Business Press.
